Spicy Dames And Tales Of Mystery
New artworks by Mallorie Freeman, August 28 - September 13, 2009
For culinary delight and more great art, be sure to visit Lava Lounge at 1307 Auburn Ave. in Tremont. New artworks by William Rupnik Gallery’s favorite artists welcome patrons every second Friday of the month, as part of the Tremont Art Walks.
Artworks by Mallorie Freeman will be featured July 10 - August 7. This preview showing is in preparation for her upcoming solo exhibition at WRG, Spicy Dames And Tales Of Mystery, which opens at the gallery with a reception on August 28, 2009.
Lava Lounge also graciously plays host to William Rupnik Gallery’s exclusive after-parties,
immediately following each gallery reception in 2009! The party is always 10:00 P.M. - ? A.M.

At every reception, we have at least one person who asks, "who’s cat is meowing?". For those who have visited the gallery on appointment, you probably know him good and well. That's Spike. Spike is a three year old silver tabby that I adopted a while ago from Rainbow Animal Connection, a wonderful, Cleveland-based, no-kill animal shelter.
Spike is usually sitting in his roomy cat carrier during the receptions (to prevent him from
running out the front door!), but he truly "runs" the place throughout the week. This photo
shows him assisting me with packing and shipping artwork.
